We spent about a month repainting and wallpapering so that the shop looks lovely and bright (we're thinking St. Ives!). The little photos show how it looked prior to our seaside-inspired transformation..

MAKERS opening was a smasher!

Thank you SO much to everyone who came and supported us on friday night..the shop has truly had an energetic launch. Fruit punch and wine flowed, peppered by fantastic fairy cakes (thanks Jo and Chez) and a stream of enthusiastic folk through our doors..

We had wonderful helpers giving out MAKERS flyers to willing passers by & offering delicious cakes round. Our very first live band played...
